The Vine featuring Marc Gunther

By: Elizabeth Sheldon

Friday, August 6th

On episode #43 of The Vine, PMP welcomes Marc Gunther, a veteran journalist and speaker, who has written for FORTUNE, GreenBiz, The Guardian, The New York Times, Washington Post, Vox, The Chronicle of Philanthropy, Stanford Social Innovation Review, and YaleEnvironment360 covering business, sustainability, entertainment, philanthropy, psychedelics, animal welfare, and global poverty.

We ask Marc to talk about his research and writings on the psychedelic renaissance, to explain his recent article entitled “Could MDMA become one of the greatest drugs ever”, and to reflect on the information he has gathered interviewing some of the greatest leaders in the psychedelic movement today including: Rick Doblin, Founder and Executive Director of MAPS, Rolland Griffiths, Director of the Center for Psychedelic and Consciousness Research at Johns Hopkins University, School of Medicine, and David Bronner, CEO of Dr. Bronner's.

Like many researchers Marc is a thoughtful observer of the psychedelic movement and the nuances that surround it. He explains a great deal about the inner workings of the industry and the important role “compassionate capitalism” will play to move the industry forward, and to give access to all of those in need of alternative healing.
