In episode #31, PMP chats with Allison Feduccia, a neuropharmacologist and psychedelic researcher who worked as a Senior Clinical Data Scientist for MAPS. Then she Co-Founded the global network Psychedelic.Support, and is the Co-Founder and Director of the non-profit Project New Day. We're delighted to feature another incredible woman in the industry during Women's History Month!
In this episode, we learn that when Allison was a teenager, she had a confusing experience with LSD, and to make meaning from her journey she has dedicated her studies and work to exploring the mind and consciousness.
After five years working at MAPS, Allison co-founded Psychedelic.Support, a global network of health care professionals who offer services (online and in-person) for psychedelic and plant medicine integration, transformational preparation, psychological and physical health, and personal growth. The organization also offers professional psychedelic educational courses with continuing education for health professionals.
She is also the Co-Founder and Director of Project New Day, a nonprofit foundation created to help with the prevention, treatment, and recovery of substance use disorders.
Allison has created a diverse community of scientists, doctors, therapists, guides and people who have experienced the benefits of psychedelic therapy helping to raise awareness and legitimize this important work. Tune into the episode below.
