The Today Show Features MDMA for PTSD
By: Elizabeth Sheldon
Thursday, November 4th
The Today Show featured a segment this morning about MDMA for PTSD. Jon Lubecky, a brave veteran shared that he suffered suicidal ideation every day since his return from duty and MDMA assisted psychotherapy changed his life. He no longer suffers from PTSD and he tells his military friends that are suffering to hang on because relief is not far away.
Finally, this conversation is going mainstream! And there are many people to thank for that. MAPS Founder and Executive Director, Rick Doblin, was featured in the segment. He has dedicated his entire career to getting psychedelic medicines FDA approved so that people who are suffering might have a chance to heal
Veterans deserve our full attention to heal from their service to our country. Horizons, one of the oldest research and scientific psychedelic conferences, is partnering Reconsider on The Veterans + Family Forum, exploring the potential of therapies that use MDMA, psilocybin, ibogaine, and ayahuasca to transform the lives of the veterans and their families that struggle with mental health challenges following their service. The event is taking place live in New York City and streamed worldwide on Wednesday, November 10, 2021.
