PMP featured Melissa Lavasani, the Founder of the Plant Medicine Coalition, on Episode 27 of The Vine. Melissa shared the intimate story of her postpartum depression and her search for healing through plant medicine. Her journey led her to lead Initiative 81, the Entheogenic Plant and Fungus Policy Act, which decriminalized psilocybin in DC.
 

Now a year later, Plant Media Project is a proud member of PMC, and this week, the organization announced its new name: Psychedelic Medicine Coalition.
 

PMC is hosting the first National Psychedelic Policy Roundtable on Wednesday, January 26 at 4:00 ET. The event will bring together top minds from the nonprofit, business, and research worlds presenting updates on PMC's efforts to create federal policy and discussing the next steps for legislation.
 

The Roundtable is not only a good chance to learn more about PMC's work but also a way to provide feedback to further advocate on a federal level. PMP has been working behind the scenes to manage the virtual production for the event, and we hope that you'll join us and attend online.
