Micordosing Goes Mainstream

Mainstream media continues to cover the evolution of plant medicine in everyday lives. Cosmopolitan recently featured an article about microdosing psilocybin where three women shared their positive microdosing experiences.

According to the article written by Sophie Williams,  microdosing entails taking one-twentieth to one-tenth of a recreational psilocybin dose. Anecdotally, the amount isn't enough to produce mind-altering effects, but can instead improve mood, mental stimulation and creative thinking, as well as treat mental health issues such as depression.

The article goes on to report that Gwyneth Paltrow’s Goop is promoting the healing benefits of 'magic mushroom therapy and that this ongoing mental health revolution is being fuelled by millennial and Gen-Z women who are now passionately advocating for the de-stigmatisation and legalisation of psychedelics like LSD and mushrooms.

Access to alternative medicines is still not easy but we applaud Cosmopolitan for sharing these stories which in turn facilitate the conversations necessary to bring about change and the de-stigmatization of plant medicine. Click HERE to read the full article
