At PMP we are dedicated to educating and advocating for all plant medicine including psychedelics like psilocybin and MDMA. As the world currently suffers from a global pandemic, many people struggle daily with depression, anxiety, and PTSD. We believe that research for plant medicine is imperative.

We discovered a real-life psilocybin study that is seeking applicants now. Researchers at Johns Hopkins University, who have been at the forefront of psychedelics studies in a lab setting, are partnering with a Denver-based nonprofit Unlimited Sciences to gather thousands of real-world experiences with psilocybin. You can learn more and sign up for the study here.

And it's not just psilocybin that is making the news. Psychology Today wrote today that, "MAPS (Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies) has raised $30 million to complete research into MDMA-assisted psychotherapy for Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). Crowd-funded by prominent investors, philanthropists and the public alike, MAPS now has the funding it needs for the FDA to approve the first-ever psychedelic therapy for mainstream use." It is important news that the private sector has raised these dollars for much needed research. Read the entire article here

We applaud the efforts of organizations like MAPS and universities like Johns Hopkins for paving the way for psychedelic research. We will keep you posted with educational news and updates surrounding psychedelics for medicinal healing.
